In Pamplona, the San Fermin Festival literally opens with a bang! The Txupinazo Opening Ceremonies, officially opened by Pamplona’s mayor, features rockets, the raising of panuelos and other exciting revelries. It is also the signal to the masses of partygoers that they may officially tie their red scarves around their necks.
Dive into the mayhem with our Opening Ceremonies balcony and enjoy wine and tapas while experiencing San Fermin’s most unique festival atmosphere. Price is per-person on a shared balcony.
This balcony can be booked as part of one of our Opening Ceremonies Packages.
Our Premium balconies are located on the Plaza Consistorial. They offer views of the Ayuntamiento (City Hall) and the expanse of festival crowds in the Plaza below – a spectacular place to experience the Txupinazo Opening Ceremonies.
Our Superior balconies have a partial view of the Plaza Consistorial. An excellent place to view the festival crowds kick off the San Fermin festival.
Please arrive at the apartment at 10:00 a.m. A representative will be waiting for you outside and then lead you, along with you balcony mates, upstairs to your designated space promptly at 10:00 a.m.
If you arrive after 10:00 a.m., you risk not making it up to the apartment. Balcony spaces are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to plan ahead and be on time. If you miss your scheduled time we are unable to offer a replacement as this event only happens once a year.
Video and still cameras are welcome as well as monopods. Tripods are not allowed due to limited balcony space.

Food and drinks are served from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
All children 5 years or under may visit our balconies at no charge if they stand in front of or are held by a parent or guardian at all times.
NOTE For balcony spots on Level 1: Due to the proximity to the ground there is small chance that you could be splashed by revelers throwing liquids up into the air when you’re standing on the balcony. It’s encouraged to not wear clothing which can’t get stained. This is recommended while walking around Pamplona in general during the festival.
A few months before the festival, you will receive an email invitation to download our Trip Plans app. This app will give you access to your live itinerary, including addresses of your events and contact information for our office in Pamplona. You will even be able to message us in the app during the festival
